Founded by James & Leslea Nunley in 1992, Bear Electric officially came to life in 1994 and soon began serving both the Fairbanks and Petersburg communities. Over the years, the company became known state-wide for their quality work and reliable service.

 

In 2025, James & Leslea were looking for new adventures and that's when Roger & Audrey Mauer came along at the perfect time. With a background in managing electrical contracting companies, Roger & Audrey jumped on the opportunity to build this business in the electrical industry. Together, with a new vision, Roger & Audrey took over Bear Electric, ready to carry on the legacy of quality service to Alaskans by Alaskans.
